Consent to Receive Electronic Disclosures, Statements & Notices

By checking the box below, you agree that we may provide you with all account disclosures and policies, your bank account statements and notices, and other communications in connection with your United Bank of Union deposit account, in an electronic form.

Please note that to open your new account online, you must agree to receive your account disclosures and policies electronically; however, upon opening a new account, new customers will receive paper copies of United Bank of Union's account disclosures, Privacy Policy, and fee schedule. You have the option to receive your bank account statements and account notices in either electronic or paper form.

If you agree to receive your bank account statements and notices in electronic form, you also agree that your computer system meets the hardware and software requirements stated below.

Computer Requirements for Electronic Statements or Notices

In order for you to access and retain records in connection with electronic statements or electronic notices, your system must meet the following requirements:

1. An Internet-enabled computer capable of viewing HTML web pages that utilize basic JavaScript. We recommend Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later, and Netscape 6.1 or later. 
2. If you want to keep printed versions of your statements or notices, they will be available in a HTML or an Adobe ® Acrobat ® Reader (.pdf) file format you can be viewed and printed. To save, print, or view the Adobe Acrobat .pdf files, you need a computer that meets Adobe’s system requirements and is capable of printing and/or saving .pdf files. If you need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, it’s a free download from Adobe.

Requesting Paper Copies of your Statements or Notices

In order to obtain a hard copy of your statement, while still receiving electronic statements, please contact us at 636-583-2555 or contact us through the internet at  http://www.unitedbankofunion.com/contact.asp. If you are enrolled in electronic statements and wish to receive a hard copy of your statements, a fee will be assessed on your next statement.  Please refer to UBU fee schedule for the exact amount. 

If You Do Not Want Electronic Disclosures

You may choose not to receive account statements and/or account notices electronically, in which case, all such information will be sent to you in writing via the U.S. Postal Service at your address that is reflected in our records. There is no charge for mailed notices.

Withdrawing Your Consent

If you consent to receive your statements or notices electronically, but wish to withdraw your consent, you can notify us in writing at United Bank of Union, PO Box 500 in Union, MO 63084.  You can also email us your cancellation request at  http://www.unitedbankofunion.com/contact.asp. You may withdraw your consent and change how you receive this information at any time.
