Certificate of Deposit

United Bank offers a variety of time deposit accounts at competitive interest rates. A minimum of $500.00 is required for an opening deposit and to obtain the advertised APY. A substantial interest penalty may be assessed for early withdrawal. The following penalties would apply: Term of 1 year or less - 6 months interest penalty Term of greater than 1 year - 12 months interest penalty.

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA)

United Bank offers savings accounts and certificates of deposit for retirement funds. A minimum of $250.00 is required for an opening deposit and to obtain the advertised APY. Anyone with earned income may be eligible to participate. Possible tax advantages could apply. A variety of IRA account types are offered, including (but not limited to) Traditional IRA, Spousal IRA, Rollover IRA, Conduit IRA and the ROTH IRA. Consult your tax advisor for specific information.
